Dr Holly Rose Hanlon is a Postdoctoral Researcher on the GP Retention (GP-R) project at the RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management. The GP-R project aims to generate in-depth insights into the working lives of GPs in the context of the GP workforce crisis, using remote ethnographic methods. Holly is an early-career researcher with a background in psychology. She recently completed her PhD which focused on adolescents’ knowledge and understanding of clinical anxiety disorders, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. She also has previous experience conducting large-scale survey-based research with doctors. She is passionate about the potential for research to enact policy change and bring about practical, impactful health system improvements for both health workers and health service users. Going forward, Holly is eager to conduct research which seeks to understand and improve health worker retention and would welcome any opportunities for collaboration.
