Dr Mehmet Ali Icbay

Mehmet Ali Icbay is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management. Previously, he worked in the Department of Medical Education at Southern Illinois University, Springfield, in the Department of Teaching and Learning at The Ohio State University, Columbus, and in the Department of Educational Sciences at Middle East Technical University, Ankara. His research focuses on the social organization of order in the healthcare settings. His recent publications include the classroom order in the lesson beginnings and closings, the interactional construction of laughter in the meetings at medical schools, the college students’ experiences with online education during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the school administrators’ opinions about managing the COVID-19 pandemic in the schools.
